Mandate from the Archdiocese cancelling all Masses through Holy Week and Easter, until April 14. There are no Masses, no reconciliation services, no small groups meeting, no social activities during this time. As expressed by the Archbishop, this is the worst possible time during the liturgical year for this to happen, but our faith remains strong and it will see us through. Available online and televised Masses are numerous and easy to find. If you need any assistance, just contact the parish.
This is a time for the church to act as a leader with caring compassion for the vulnerable among us. Please be in touch with those you sit with in the pews and those we don’t see very often as we care for one another during this unprecedented time. If any of you need help during the days ahead with shopping or other essential needs, or if you are in a position to extend a helping hand to others, let us know and we’ll try to coordinate an effort to help you get what you need.
And remember, the precautions we take today will, hopefully, bring a speedier end to this difficult time. Please take all health precautions very seriously.
